Troubleshooting
Problem
This document provides information on not being able to associate qaudjrn with the restored receivers.
Resolving The Problem
After restoring audit journal receivers to the system, you need to associate the journal receivers to the audit journal. To associate the journal receivers to the audit journal, do the following:
1. Type WRKJRN from the command line, and press Enter.
2. Select Option 9 in front of QAUDJRN. If this fails with message CPF9803, that means auditing is currently turned on. You must turn off auditing before issuing this command. To turn off auditing, do the following:
a. Change the system value QAUDCTL to *NONE
b. Issue WRKJRN, Option 9 (for QAUDJRN)
c. Change QAUDCTL back to what it was set to before you changed it to *NONE
