Cancel Appointment Page
Use the Cancel Appointment page to cancel a dock appointment.
Thetop of the page displays shipping data such as the weight packagetype and dock name. The bottom of the page displays the appointmenttime window.
You can define the following settings on the CancelAppointment page:
- Reason Code
- Select a Reason Code to describe why you are canceling theappointment.
- Select the Reason Code Group such as Shipper Carrieror Weather.
- Select the Reason Code. Sterling TMS filters thelist of codes based on the group you selected.
For example you might choose Production Falldown becausethe load is not ready to pick up.
- Confirmation Number
As an option you can change or remove the confirmation numberfor the appointment.
- Notes
As an option you can enter a note to explain why you canceledthe appointment.
When you are done click Cancel Appt todelete the appointment. Click Exit to closethe page without canceling the appointment.
