Build Forge fails to connect to case sensitive SQL Server databases

Troubleshooting

Problem

In SQL Server, when the database is set to case sensitive, IBM® Rational® Build Forge® will fail to connect with the error: []DBD::ODBC::st execute failed: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'information_schema.tables'[].

Symptom

When Build Forge attempts to get a list of the tables to verify if the schema exists by querying the built-in INFORMATION_SCHEMA object, the following error occurs:

DBD::ODBC::st execute failed: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'information_schema.tables'. (SQL-42S02)
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Statement(s) could not be prepared. (SQL-42000)(DBD: st_execute/SQLExecute err=-1) at /PerlApp/BuildForge/DB/Hand
