Bubble plan defined

Question & Answer

Question

What is a bubble plan?

Answer

A bubble plan is what you see in the admin tool, when you right click on a query from the query history or active queries, and select explain-> graph.

You can also do this is nzsql, using the keywords explain plangraph before the query. It will provide you with the HTML to display the graph, which you'll then have to view in a browser.
