Upgrading Maximo 7.1 and any 7.1 fix packs, to Maximo 7.5 and any 7.5 fix packs, when you launch UpgradeUI and click on either the Validation or Upgrade tab you get the message:
BMXAA8279I - Upgrade and upgrade validation are not supported for version V71110-16
Note the above message is for a 7.1.1.10 database; message is similar for any 7.1 fixpack.
When upgrading Maximo 7.1 to 7.5, there are no Database Validation and no Database Upgrade utilities. Upgrade is performed by running UpdateDB only.
Maximo 7.1 and any of its fix packs - 7.1.1.6, 7.1.1.7, etc.
Run Integrity Checker from UpgradeUI or IntegrityUI; resolve any errors reported. From a command line, run ...\maximo\tools\maximo\updatedb.bat. UpdateDB performs the upgrade, Validation and Upgrade are not required and are not supported.
