Problem
Error message is raised when deploying a Web Service in Maximo 7.5
Symptom
The following error message may be thrown when deploying a Web Service in the Web Services Library Application.
BMXAA7753E - This option is not available because the Web service is registered for deployment with the product Web service container.
Cause
Maximo 7.5 delivers new functionality which enables the user to deploy a web service either to the Application Server Container or to the Product Web Service (MAM) Container.
This new functionality is controled by the System Property, mxe.int.containerdeploy.
mxe.int.containerdeploy = 1 : Deploy Web Service to Application Server Container
mxe.int.containerdeploy = 0 : Deploy Web Service to Product Container
The error above means you cannot deploy the current web service to the product container, even though the mxe.int.containerdeploy is set to 0.
The reason is because the current web service was created when the system property was set to 1, and the user is trying to deploy it to the Product Container.
Resolving The Problem
To solve this issue, delete the current web service and simply recreate it.
Once the web service is recreated, deploy it again.
The error message will not be raised anymore, and the web service will be properly deployed to Product Web Service Container.
