Question
Bisynchronous Protocol
Answer
Bisynchronous Protocol
Bisynchronous (bisync) is a communications protocol used to synchronize data and to send and receive data at controlled rates.
You can access Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork using the bisynchronous communications protocol.
Transport Methods
Direct dial access supports bisynchronous protocol using either:
- An 800 number available in the U.S. Canada and Mexico
- A 614 number available internationally
For phone numbers contact Customer Support.
.
CAUTION:
The bisynchronous protocol types 2780 and 3780 cannot communicate with each other. Computers using the 2780 type can communicate only with other computers using the 2780 type. The same is true for computers using the 3780 protocol type.
