Question & Answer
Question
In IBM® Rational Rose®, a model of the JDK is provided for you to reference existing classes as types of UML Attributes or UML Operation Parameters. No such model is provided by Rational Software Architect, Rational Software Modeler or Rational Systems Developer. In order to generate Java™ code using the UML 2 Java Transformation, it may be required to set up such types in the UML model. What is best way of configuring the model so that the UML to Java and the Java to UML transforms run smoothly?
