Question & Answer
Question
Why is bcmd.log.
Cause
One of the LSF clusters RTM is monitoring has LSB CMD debug turned on, In lsf.conf,
LSB_DEBUG_CMD="LC_TRACE LC_EXEC LC_COMM LC_SYS"
LSB_CMD_LOGDIR=/tmp
LSB_CMD_LOG_MASK=LOG_DEBUG3
Answer
RTM pollers call LSB API, which will generate the log file if LSB CMD debug turned on. The location of the log file is defined by LSB_CMD_LOGDIR, in the above example it is /tmp
Turn off LSB CMD debug to stop generating this log.
