ON-Bar reports exit code 152 (0x98)

Troubleshooting


Problem

This document explains the cause of the exit code 152 when running backups using ON-Bar, and the options you can choose in order to prevent this error or live with it but without affecting a future restore.

Symptom


While performing a backup using the ON-Bar utility, ON-Bar reports an exit code 152.

In the message log it appears as:

Process exited with return code 152

In the bar activity log it appears as:

/bin/onbar_d: process exit 152 (0x98)
