Problem
In the process of setting up Cognos Configuration for Maximo integration, you may notice that the administration section is missing!
The user might be expecting something like this..
But instead, they see the following.
How can I get the Authentication section to display?
This is an easy fix. With Cognos 10.2.1, there are 2 install folders. Cognos\c10 and Cognos\c10_64. Cognos server is under c10_64 while Framework Manager is under c10.
IBM Cognos Configuration exists under both. If you are not seeing the Authentication section, you have opened Cognos Configuration from Framework Manager.
This can happen with Cognos 11 as well, but the menus seem a little clearer.
