Problem
With AD plugin configured, you can log on the GUI with AD accounts successfully. But the client app cannot submit jobs to the cluster.
Error in api.client.log
2020-03-27 14:52:38.081 W. Europe Standard Time ERROR [26544:8944] api.base.actions.BaseAction - Security error: Authentication failed. Same Error in SD.log
Security error: Authentication failed. Incorrect user name or password, or the security plugin setting (specified in the EGO_SEC_PLUGIN parameter in the ego.conf file on both the client and server) are incompatible.
The same user can log on the GUI successfully with the DOMAINABC\myclient username and the password.
