Troubleshooting
Problem
On a computer that has multiple Windows users, if you run IBM Installation Manager and attempt to update or roll back WebSphere Application Server v6.1 Test Environment extension, the update or roll back operation does not complete and yet get an error.
Symptom
The update or roll back operation fails and the following message displays:
Error during "install" phase:
failed to install 1.0.0-WS-WASWeb20-FP0000002.pak
(java.io.IOException: Failed to delete:
file:/XXXXXXXX/SDP/runtimes/base_v61/logs/update/tmp/updateconfig.log)
failed to uninstall feature pack for WebSerivces for WebSphere Application server version 6.1.0.XX
