Problem
Attempts to generate a document style report in Rational DOORS Next Generation (RDNG) hangs with the message "The process has started".
Symptom
In the Create a Document-Style Report dialog, "The process has started" message appears and does not proceed to the next step of the report generation.
Cause
The publish server needs to be initialized.
Resolving The Problem
Use the following steps to reinitialize the server:
- Go to
[https ://server name:port/rm/publish/initialize] - Wait for the message "CRRRS6503I Initialization Completed Successfully" to be printed on the screen.
Try to generate a report again.
