Attached Documents will not open. Error 404 - Not Found

Troubleshooting


Problem

This document provides a tip to prevent the error message above when opening attached documents.

Symptom

In Maximo, attached documents will not open. You will see an error message when trying to open attached documents in Maximo.

Error 404: java.io.FileNotFoundException: SRVE0190E: File not found:
/attachments/XXXX.pdf

Steps :

Go to Work Order Tracking app
Select a workorder
Select view attachments
Select the attachment to open
Receive error.

Select add attachment
Browse to file and add to workorder
Click OK
Select view attachments
Select attachment just added
Receive error
