Attach documents getting "java.lang.NullPointerException"

Troubleshooting


Problem

When attaching documents to the application the records are not updated to the doclinks and docinfo table.

Symptom

Error message:

at psdi.app.doclink.Doclinks.appValidate(Doclinks.java:462)
at psdi.mbo.Mbo.validate(Mbo.java:4118)
at psdi.mbo.MboSet.validate(MboSet.java:5033)
at psdi.webclient.system.beans.DataBean.validate(DataBean.java:2824)
at psdi.webclient.beans.doclinks.AddDocLinksBean.execute
(AddDocLinksBean.java:96)

You will also see a warning
The BMXAA6694W - The mbovalueinfo for attribute PRINTTHRULINKDFLT for object DOCLINKS could not be retrieved". But this is not related to the issue. It can be ignored.
