Assert Failed: ptmap during archive

Troubleshooting


Problem

During an archive, it's possible to see "Assert Failed: ptmap" causing a backup to fail after a temp space fills, even though you have other temp spaces available for use.

Symptom

You are performing an archive when a temp space being used becomes full. Although you have other temp spaces available, you see the following in the log:
