Problem
I have a set of survey items that I expect to form a Guttman scale. Is there an SPSS procedure that performs Guttman Scale analysis? I notice that the Reliability procedure (Analyze->Scale->Reliability Analysis) has a Guttman option for Model choice. Is this model related to the Guttman scale?
