To approve a load plan follow these steps:

1. Select the shipments on the Shipments taband click Approve Load Plan. The Load PlanApproval page opens and displays the following information:
   • The number of shipments selected
   • The search criteria you specified on the Shipments tab
2. Enter the Load Plan ID.
3. Click Approve to complete the loadplan and assign the Load Plan ID to the selected shipments.
   Notes:

   • The Approve Load Plan button only appearsin the Execution module if your shipper administrator enabled thisfeature.
   • You can search for shipments based on the Load Plan Status. Forexample you might want to find unapproved shipments.
   • You can add the Load Plan Status and Load Plan ID columns to the Shipments tab.These columns are hidden by default. To add these columns click CustomizeTable.
   • If your organization requires load plan approval Sterling TMS does not sendshipper updates until a user has approved the load plan. For examplea user submits orders for optimization and then approves the optimizedshipment. Sterling TMS doesnot send a shipment update to your organization until the user approvesthe load plan for the optimized shipment.
