Application service control daemon (ASCD) cannot start

Troubleshooting


Problem

ASCD service crashes and Spark Instance Groups are inaccessible.

Symptom

Inside the ASCD log the following message is observed:
Caused by: com.ibm.asc.ascd.core.conductor.ConductorException: Failed to retrieve user to notebook map. Failed to retrieve data for ID notebookServiceMap because of inconsistent data in files
/opt/egoshare720/conductorspark/work/notebookServiceMap.yml and /opt/egoshare720/conductorspark/work/notebookServiceMap.yml.tmp.
