Troubleshooting
Problem
Customer has installed both Cognos Controller and Cognos Disclosure management (CDM) on the same application server. Controller uses .NETFramework V2.0 while CDM uses .NETFramework V4.0.
Symptom
In one specific example, when Customer was trying to launch Controller they were receiving the following Error message
Error: "An error occurred while trying to access the server. http:
//spibm-contsb/ibmcognos/contollerserver"
Error details.
Client found response content type of 'text/html', but expected
'text/xml'.
The request failed with the error message:
