This document will show how APING (verify APPC connection) posts message MCH3401 several times.
The following errors are posted as below.
Cannot resolve to object CMINIT. Type and Subtype X'0201' Authority X'0000'.
Command did not complete successfully.
Cannot resolve to object CMECS. Type and Subtype X'0201' Authority X'0000'.
Cannot resolve to object CMSDT. Type and Subtype X'0201' Authority X'0000'.
Cannot resolve to object CMDEAL. Type and Subtype X'0201' Authority X'0000'.
To resolve the problem, you should do one of the following:
| Ensure the user has authority to the objects. Sign on as QSECOFR, and test the command to verify authority issue. | |
| Ensure the library of QSYS2 is in the system library list (WRKSYSVAL QSYSLIBL command). If library has just been added to the QSYSLIBL list, the user must sign off and back on for the values to take effect. |
