Resolving The Problem

1. Browse the EDICFG VSAM. Columns 11-13 in the 0 Record are the Program Image. To find the DSN, use the CICS Command CEMT I FI(simCFG) [where sim is your System Image]. To change the Program Image in the EDICFG VSAM file, run Program EBDIT10 [see Installation Guide and DEFDB for JCL and Parms to Delete, Define, and Initialize the EDICFG VSAM file]. If you change the Program Image in the EDICFG VSAM file, you must also Purge the EDICFGQ TSQ [per next step].

2. View the EDICFGQ TSQ using CICS Command CEBR simCFGQ [where sim is your System Image]. Columns 1-3 are the Program Image. To change the Program Image in the EDICFGQ TSQ, use CICS Command CEBR simCFGQ PURGE [where sim = your System Image], and ignore the error UNABLE TO READ TEMPORARY STORAGE RECORD. EIBRCODE = 'D00C00000000'X SYSIDERR.

3. Review your SYSNAME run (see Installation Guide). Verify (a) the IEBCOPY Return Code is 00, (b) the Program Image is correct in all the IEBCOPY Select Statements, and (c) the IEBCOPY SYSUT2 DSN is in your CICS Startup JCL. If you must re-run the SYSNAME job, you must also cycle CICS [we suggest a Cold Start].

4. Reload the Program using CICS Command CEMT S PROG(pimpgm) NEW [where pimpgm is the Program Image Program Name]. For CICS Screens, perform the NewCopy on both the Screen Program and the Screen Map (e.g., For EDIM504 APCT Abend, perform NewCopy on EDIX504 and EDIZ504).
