APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• REORG resets SYSIBM.SYSTABLESPACESTATS.GETPAGES and
  SYSIBM.SYSINDEXSTATS.GETPAGES, but LOAD REPLACE and REBUILD
  INDEX do not reset them.
  This APAR will change LOAD REPLACE and REBUILD INDEX to reset
  RTS GETPAGES, so it is consistent to REORG behavior.

  * Prior to this enhancement, the                               *
  * GETPAGES value of                                            *
  * the object in                                                *
  * SYSIBM.SYSTABLESPACESTATS or                                 *
  * SYSIBM.SYSINDEXSPACESTATS is not                             *
  * reset by LOAD REPLACE or REBUILD INDEX                       *
  * utilities.                                                   *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Apply corrective PTF when available                          *

  Real Time Statistics does not reset the GETPAGES
  value of an object after LOAD REPLACE or REBUILD INDEX has been
  run on it. GETPAGES value maintains its current value and will
  continue incrementing until the object is dropped or the REORG
  utility is run.
  With this APAR, Real Time Statistics is enhanced to reset the
  GETPAGES value after LOAD REPLACE or REBUILD INDEX utility is
  run.
  

Problem conclusion

• Db2 code has been improved to reset GETPAGES after LOAD REPLACE
  or REBUILD INDEX utilities have been run on an object.
