Error description

  • In response to customer requirements, the *VMEVENT Enhancements
line item will deliver new and enhanced event records.
New event records are generated to provide data associated with
virtual machine console disconnection and reconnection. Logon
event records are extended to identify the logon-by user (if
any) and to identify the terminal connection. The
    logoff-timeout-started and logoff-timeout-service event records
are enhanced to report large timeout intervals correctly, by
appending a 32-bit unsigned interval value to the existing
message format. Redundant runnable (Class 0 Type 5) events are
eliminated. The runnable event is now reported only when the
virtual machine is leaving a non-runnable state.

*VMEVENT Enhancements will deliver new and enhanced event
records. New events are added for machine console reconnection
(Class 0, Type 28) and disconnection (Class 0, Type 29). The
runnable event (Class 0, Type 5) is modified to only report on a
state change. The logoff-timeout-started (Class 0, Type 3) and
logoff-timeout-service (Class 1, Type 3) event records are
enhanced to report large timeout intervals correctly, by
appending a 32-bit unsigned interval value to the existing
message format. The logon event (Class 0, Type 0) is modified to
include logon-by and terminal information in the message.
