Error description

• In some cases, an HTT001 abend can occur following a VMRELOCATE
  command to perform a Live Guest Relocation (LGR) operation.

  A fullword address was loaded into a register for use as a base
  register without clearing the high half of the register.  That
  causes the ABENDHTT001 in this 64-bit addressing mode code if
  there is residual data in the high half of that register.
  

Problem conclusion

• The 32-bit load instructions that load an address into a
  register to be used as a base register are changed to
  instructions that will clear the high halves of the registers.
