• This APAR provides z/VM support for the IBM z15 and LinuxONE
  III servers and allows guests to use the following
  facilities:
  - Miscellaneous-Instruction-Extensions Facility 3
  - Vector Enhancements Facility 2
  - Vector Packed Decimal Enhancement Facility
  - Synchronous execution support for on-chip data compression,
    deflate-conversion
  - Message-Security-Assist Extension 9
  - Crypto Express7S adapter shared and dedicated guest support
  
  Requisite or Related APARs:
  
    The PTF for APAR VM66206 provides infrastructure support in
    z/VM V6.4 and V7.1 for the z15 server, and z/VM Dynamic
    Crypto support. The PTFs for this APAR and VM66206 must be
    installed on all the members of an SSI cluster before any
    member will be running on the z15 or LinuxONE III servers.
  
    In addition, the PTF for APAR VM65976 provides infrastructure
    support for ESA/390-compatibility mode within z/VM V6.4, and
    must be installed on all members of an SSI cluster before any
    z/VM V6.4 member of the cluster is run on an IBM z15 or
    LinuxONE III server.
  
    With the available PTF for APAR PI99085, the z/VM V6.4 and
    V7.1 TCP/IP stack and NETSTAT OSAINFO command have been
    updated to provide support for:
      - OSA-Express7s GbE
      - OSA-Express7S 10GbE
      - OSA-Express7S 25GbE
      - OSA-Express7s 1000BASE-T
  
  In addition, support is added for installation of z/VM V6.4 and
  V7.1 using a USB flash drive.
  
  The following publications are updated.
  
  In z/VM: CP Commands and Utilities, SC24-6268-04, the
  following CP commands have been updated:
  - QUERY CRYPTO command
  - QUERY VIRTUAL CRYPTO command
  - SET SVC76 command
  
  In z/VM: CP Planning and Administration, SC24-6271-03, the
  following changes were made:
   - The CRYPTO APVIRTUAL system configuration statement has
     been updated.
   - The CRYPTO and OPTION Directory Statements have been updated.
  
  In z/VM: Performance, SC24-6301-04, the following CP monitor
  records have been updated:
  - D1R4 MRMTRSYS: Added field  MTRSYS_MAXPU.
  - D1R15 MRMTRUSR: Added CPNC and CPVC.
  - D4R2 MRUSELOF: Added new simulation counts.
  - D4R3 MRUSEACT: Added new simulation counts.
  - D4R9 MRUSEATE: Added CPNC and CPVC.
  - D5R13 MRPRCMFC: CPU-Measurement Facility Counters.

  In z/VM: CP Messages and Codes, GC24-6270-03, the Explanation
  of message HCP879I has been updated.
  
  In z/VM: Migration Guide, GC24-6294-04, information is added
  which lists the statement, messages and monitor records that
