Error description

• Incorrect specifications of the RDEV operands on HYPERSWAP
  QUIESCE commands can lead to HTT001 abends in certain cases
  where the VMDBK of the command issuer is not properly passed as
  the target for an error message.

  An HTT001 abend could occur during HYPERSWAP QUIESCE commands
  that have incorrect RDEV specifications leading to error
  messages.  This would only occur following the successful
  quiesce of a previous device as that would cause the loss of
  a control block pointer.
  

Problem conclusion

  Code was added to restore the improperly handled control block
  pointer following prior to the lookup of each new device to be
  quiesced.
