is excecuted : DMSABE141T Operation exception occurred at
    00021F9E in routine LISTDS.
The abend occurs because at DMSLDS +X'4CC' we BALR to routine
ADISKIO and the address we are branching to is outside of the

    ****************************************************************
During an attempt to gather some debugging information, the
customer issued a "NUCXLOAD LISTDS" command to make the LISTDS a
nucleus extension. When a subsequent LISTDS command was issued,
the command ABENDed because not all the code associated with
LISTDS was successfully loaded. Rebuilding LISTDS MODULE with
the RLDSAVE option allows the MODULE to be built to include
relocation information from the TEXT files and allows the MODULE
    to work when NUCXLOADed.

Problem conclusion

  • In the CMSMLOAD VMSES/E buildlist, we changed the default LOAD
options to include RLDSAVE when creating the LISTDS MODULE.
This instructs the CMS loader to save the relocation information
from the TEXT files and allows the GENMOD command to use
relocation information to generate a relocatable CMS MODULE.
