Abstract
OSP-IWS CLIENT ALLOW MILLISECONDS FOR TIMEOUT VALUES IN
TRANSPORT API
Error Description
see closing
Problem Summary
The connect and I/O timeout values for the transport APIs can
only be specified in seconds. There is no way to specify
milliseconds.
Problem Conclusion
Two new properties have been added in order to specify
millisecond granularity when using the client transport API.
The properties are:
AXISC_PROPERTY_CONNECT_TIMEOUT_MILLI
The next parameter must be a pointer to an integer. The integer
value will be used
as the connect timeout value. A value less than one will result
in the system default
connect timeout to be used. The specified value is in
milliseconds.
AXISC_PROPERTY_IO_TIMEOUT_MILLI
The next parameter must be a pointer to an integer. The integer
value will be used
as the I/O timeout value. A value less than one will result in
an indefinite wait.
The specified value is in milliseconds.
