Error description

  • When editing ILE RPG source in Rational Developer for i (RDi),
one can select a built-in function name in the source code and
press F1 to obtain Language Sensitive Help for the specific
    built-in function.
However, double clicking or highlighting the entire built-in
function text and pressing F1 for help places the editor cursor
on the character after the end of the builtin function name,
likely a space or open-bracket and instead of help for the
built-in function, the help page for a generic statement is
    displayed.

Local fix

  • Highlight or move the cursor back one character such that it is
on one or more of the letters of the built-in function name
    before requesting the help.

Double clicking before pressing F1 causes help to launch for the
character after the name clicked on; giving the wrong link.
