SE76375: RDI 9.6.0.11 I PROJECT MEMBER COMPARE TO CORRESPONDING REMOTE MEMBER LEAVES MEMBER LOCKED

Error description

• In Rational Developer for i (RDI) 9.6.0.11, users can use i
  Projects to maintain a local client copy of a remote source
  member on the IBM i, and in the Remote Reconciler view, request
  a source compare between the local copy and the remote member. A
  member lock is placed on the remote member while the compare
  view is open.
  In RDI version 9.6.0.11, the remote member lock is not released
  when the source compare view is closed in RDi, but should be.
  This lock prevents other users from being able to edit the
  remote member.
  

Local fix

• When these locks occur, disconnect and reconnect the RDi
  connection to the IBM i to release its locks.
  In the Remote System Explorer view, select the IBM i connection
  associated with the i Project, then right mouse click on it to
  see itâ ™s context  menu actions, then perform a Disconnect
  action, followed by a Connect action.
