Abstract
OSP-COMM-TCPIP-MSGTCP5B11 REASON CODE -6 UNLOADING PACKET
FILTER RULES
Error Description
Attempting to remove packet rules or VPN policy filters for a
line after all TCP/IP interfaces have been removed from the line
or the line description has been deleted, may fail with TCP5B11
with reason code -6.
The leftover packet rules may cause VPN connections to fail.
Problem Summary
After TCP/IP is restarted, packet rules for lines that no longer
have TCP/IP interfaces defined cannot be removed.
Problem Conclusion
If rules are being unloaded from a physical interface that is
unknown to the TCP/IP stack, causing the -6 reason code failure,
the unload processing will continue. This will allow the rules
to be completely removed.
