SE75556: RDI 9.6.0.10 EDITING SQLRPGLE SOURCE THE PARSER MAY REPORT AN ERROR DUE TO SQL IF EXISTS CLAUSE

Error description

• Editing ILE RPG source with embedded SQL using the Remote
  Systems LPEX Editor in Rational Developer for i (RDI) 9.6.0.10
  may incorrectly report parser errors (Statement begin and end
  type mismatch) in a valid SQL statement.
  The problem occurs when the source has a SQL statement with an
  IF EXISTS clause.
  
  Example:
      EXEC SQL DROP TABLE IF EXISTS mytable;
  

Local fix

•  If possible, remove the IF EXISTS clause.
