SE74634: RDI 960 COM.GOOGLE.GSON PLUGIN REFERENCE MISSING FROM RDI 9.6 CONFIGURATION AFTER UPDATE

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After an update to Rational Developer for i (RDI) 9.6 it can be
  discovered that third party plugins, Web tooling, the debugger
  or code coverage tools may not work due to a change in the
  configuration for the install image.
  

Local fix

• Reinstall RDI 9.6 directly into a new Package Group at the
  desired fix-pack level without upgrading then uninstall the
  original Package Group with the damaged configuration.
