SE74209: RDI 9.6.0.8 CL PROMPTER ISSUES EVFCL0074 FOR CL PARM VALUE WITH EMBEDDED QUOTE

Error description

• Using Rational Developer for i (RDI) 9.6.0.8 to prompt a CL
  command with a parameter argument which contains a quoted value
  with an embedded quote (eg. PARM(⠘a⠙⠙b⠙), the CL
  Prompter dialog can incorrectly issue the error message
  EVFCL0074 (value too long). The two quote characters which
  symbolize a quote as part of the value cause the overall length
  value to be incorrectly calculated for the diagnostic checking.

• This problem is fixed in the RDi 9.6.0.11 update.
