Error description

• Editing ILE RPG source with embedded SQL the Remote Systems LPEX
  Editor in Rational Developer for i (RDI) 9.6.0.7 may incorrectly
  report parser errors (Unexpected END encountered) in a valid SQL
  statement.
  
  The problem occurs when the source has a SQL statement which
  contains the word END in some usage other than closing a
  statement block or clause. This can occur if the word END is
  used as a name or alias in the SQL statement.
  

Local fix

• Avoid using END as a symbol name; choose some other name that
  does not conflict with SQL keywords.
