Abstract

OSP-DB2MIRROR SUPPORT FOR AUTOMATIC RECOVERY OF MAINSTORE LOSS
FOR DB2 MIRRORED IASP

Error Description

In the event of an abnormal vary off of an IASP which encounters
mainstore loss, support will be put in place to attempt to      
automatically recover specific, critical portions of the IASP on
a subsequent vary on.                                          

Problem Summary

In the event of an abnormal vary off of an IASP which encounters
mainstore loss, there is the potential for specific, critical  
portions of the IASP which may be left in an incoherent state.  

Problem Conclusion

In the event of an abnormal vary off of an IASP which encounters
mainstore loss, support will be put in place to attempt to      
automatically recover specific, critical portions of the IASP on
a subsequent vary on.
