SE71721: RDI 9.6.0.6 WHEN BROWSE MODE IS THE DEFAULT OPTION 2 (EDIT) IN THE OBJECT TABLE OPENS AS BROWSE

Error description

• The default mode when opening source in Rational Developer for i
  (RDI) 9.6.0.6 with the Remote Systems LPEX Editor is to open for
  Edit.  This default can be changed to Browse when the preference
  "Open source in browse mode" is enabled.  When this is selected
  then option 2 (Edit) in the Object Table view will incorrectly
  open the source in Browse mode when it should be opened in Edit
  mode.

  mode; ignoring the preference which should not apply to it.

• This problem is fixed in the RDi 9.6.0.7 update.
