SE71616: RDI 9.6.0.6 CL PROMPTER IN RDI DOES NOT PROPERLY SUPPORT THE RELKEYWORD FOR THE PARM STATEMENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The CL Prompter in Rational Developer for i (RDI) 9.6.0.6 does
  not properly support the REL keyword for the PARM statement.
  Editing CMD source using the Remote Systems LPEX Editor and
  prompting on a PARM statement that has a REL keyword the CL
  Prompter will not open, but instead incorrectly issues a
  EVFCL0050 "Expression operator not allowed for parameter REL"
  error message when the REL parameter is properly coded.

  expression in the REL parameter clause; but diagnosed it as
  invalid and refused to prompt it.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem is fixed in the RDi 9.6.0.9 update.
