Problem Summary
Customers need a simple way to view a live comparison of
installed firmware level on a partition versus the current
updates or upgrades recommended by the IBM Fix Level
Recommendation Tool.
Problem Conclusion
The SYSTOOLS/FIRMWARE_CURRENCY VIEW leverages DB2 for i HTTP
functions, JSON_TABLE(), and a JSON feed from the IBM Fix Level
Recommendation Tool to return recommended firmware updates or
upgrades.
