Abstract

OSP-DB-OTHER-INCORROUT STORED PROCEDURE WITH IDENTITY_VAL_LOCAL
FUNCTION RETURNS NULL VALUE, ON THE 3RD RUN.

Error Description

Stored procedure invokes the IDENTITY_VAL_LOCAL function. If    
the stored procedure is run 3 times, on the 3rd run, it        
receives NULL. The first couple of times it works fine.        

Problem Summary

Stored procedure invokes the IDENTITY_VAL_LOCAL function. If the
stored procedure is run 3 times, on the 3rd run, it receives    
NULL. The first couple of times it works fine.                  

Problem Conclusion

The problem occurs with SELECT from INSERT statements that are  
in static programs which includes SQL stored procedures. The    
problem is fixed with this PTF.
