Abstract

RPGLE-CMPL-INCORROUT CVTOPT IN H-SPEC IGNORED WITH OUTPUT(*NONE)

Error Description

When an ILE RPG source member has the CVTOPT keyword in the    
H spec, the keyword may be ignored if OUTPUT(*NONE) is          
specified for the CRTRPGMOD or CRTBNDRPG command.              

Problem Summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When an ILE RPG source member has the   *
*                      CVTOPT keyword in the H spec, the       *
*                      keyword may be ignored if OUTPUT(*NONE) *
*                      is specified for the CRTRPGMOD or       *
*                      CRTBNDRPG command.                      *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

When an ILE RPG source member has the CVTOPT keyword in the    
H spec, the keyword may be ignored if OUTPUT(*NONE) is          
specified for the CRTRPGMOD or CRTBNDRPG command.              

Problem Conclusion

The ILE RPG compiler will be changed so that when the CVTOPT    
keyword is specified in the Control specifications, it will    
be recognized correctly when OUTPUT(*NONE) is specified        
on the CRTBNDRPG or CRTRPGMOD command.

Do one of the following:                                        

- Specify OUTPUT(*PRINT)                                        
- Specify the CVTOPT command parameter                          
- Change the source so that the CVTOPT keyword is not needed
