Abstract

OSP-DB-OTHER-MSGSQL0335 NOT ISSUED AS WARNING

Error Description

  '3f'X substitution characters are correctly inserted into a  
table where the column is tagged with CCSID 1147 and the data  
being inserted is tagged with CCSID 1208 and contains the RLO  
character '202e'X.                                              
  However, the sqlcode is not set to warning +335.              

Problem Summary

  '3f'X substitution characters are correctly inserted into a  
table where the column is tagged with CCSID 1147 and the data

  However, the sqlcode is not set to warning +335.              

Problem Conclusion

  When converting from UCS2 to a SBSC we will scan the converted
data for '3F'X and issue the +335 warning if the character is  
found.                                                          
  Setting SQL_SUPPRESS_WARNINGS QAQQINI option to *YES will    
cause this processing to be skipped.
