Abstract

OSP-DB-OTHER-INCORROUT INCORRECT DATA IN CLOB FIELD.

Error Description

Insert data into a CLOB field using the INSERT...SELECT        
statement produces incorrect output. If the same field is      
changed to a VARCHAR field and with the same data inserted      
using the same statement, the output is correct.                

Problem Summary

Insert data into a CLOB field using the INSERT...SELECT        
statement produces incorrect output. If the same field is      
changed to a VARCHAR field and with the same data inserted using
the same statement, the output is correct.                      

Problem Conclusion

  The buffer used to contain the records fetched from the other
system was not managed correctly once more then 300M of data is
fetched.                                                        
  The problem has been corrected.
