Error description

• Rational Developer for I (RDI) version 9.1.0 is not correctly
  handling the case where the field is coded in a data structure
  without type information, and the field's definition comes from
  an externally described file.

  When editing an ILE RPG member containing a subfield that has no
  explicit type and which shares the name of a numeric field from
  an external file, the type appears in the outline view to be
  Packed Decimal, when it should be Zoned Decimal.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem is fixed in the RDi 9.1.1 update.
