SE60049: RDI LPEX PARSING ISSUE CUASE EMPTY OUTLINE VIEW

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• RDi LPEX lex the source incorrectly, the * in below sample code
  is being interpreted as the times operator, not part of the
  identifier name:
  	C     *MUMC1000     DSPLY
  
  LPEX report "unexpected token(s) ignored" error which cause
  outline view empty.
  
  The workaround is to turn off the live outline, go to
  preferences, Remote Systems-> Remote Systems LPEX Editor -> IBM
  i Parsers -> ILE RPG, then deselect "Update the Outline view
  when text is changed in the editor".

  scanning errors which prevent the Outline view from being
  populated.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem is fixed in the RDi 9.6.0.11 update.
