Abstract

OSP-DB-OTHER-PERFM RUNNING MANY RESTORE LIBRARIES AT THE SAME
TIME MAY RESULT IN LONG RESTORE TIMES

Error Description

Running many RSTLIBs at the same time involving many tables with
many columns may result in long restore times due to database  
cross reference table management                                

Problem Summary

Running many RSTLIBs at the same time involving many tables with
many columns may result in long restore times due to database  
cross reference table management                                

Problem Conclusion

The cross reference server queue that handles the field level  
information is reaching capacity and causing the restores to    
wait.  The number of requests the field server must handle is  
being reduced to greatly decrease the likelihood of reaching    
maximum queue capacity.
