Abstract
OSP-OTHER QDBMAINT REBUILD ACCESS PATH IMPROVEMENTS
Error Description
QDBMAINT will add messages to the history log.
Problem Summary
QDBMAINT will add messages to the history log.
Problem Conclusion
Additional messages will be written to the history log during an
IPL or IASP Vary-on.
1) A new upper case CPF9897 message will be written if an access
path was not
recovered from the journal as expected.
CPF9897: ACCESS PATH <FILENAME> LIBRARY <LIBNAME> NOT
RECOVERED
FROM THE JOURNAL.
2) A new upper case CPF9898 message will indicate the time at
which all access
paths with MAINT(*IMMED) have been recovered from their
journals.
CPF9898: RECOVERY OF JOURNALED ACCESS PATHS WITH
MAINT(*IMMED) IS
COMPLETE.
3) A new upper case CPF9898 message will indicate that an access
path with
MAINT(*DLY) was recovered from its journal.
CPF9898: ACCESS PATH <FILENAME> LIBRARY <LIBNAME> RECOVERED
BY
JOURNAL-MAINT(*DLY).
In a future release the CPF9897 and CPF9898 messages will be
replaced with translated messages.
