• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The auto-format of SQL in SQLRPGLE source members does not
  happen when there is a blank line above the SQL.
  

Local fix

• Delete blank lines above the SQL or insert a commet in the line
  above the SQL and it will format as expected.

Problem conclusion

• This problem is fixed in the RDi 9.1.  To turn on SQL
  formatting, go to Window->Preferences->Remote Systems->Remote
  Systems LPEX Editor->IBM i Parsers->ILE RPG->Free-form SQL
  Formatting and enable the 'Automatic formatting' checkbox.
